Alleluia Verse

Alleluia. Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight; all flesh shall see the salvation of God. Alleluia.   Luke 3:4b, 6

Prayer before Service O Lord, as we hear the voice of Your prophet John move us also to repentance that we may be cleansed from our sins and be driven to our Savior in faith. Let not the evil one distract our lives from Your strong word which brings life. Hear us for the sake of Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
