Alleluia Verse

Alleluia. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Alleluia.                        Matt. 5:3

KDOM Broadcast today...Is sponsored by Virgil & Janet Meier in honor of their wedding anniversary.

Stewardship…. Matthew 18:4 – “Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” What does it mean to have childlike faith? Certainly Jesus does not want us to have a faith that is childish: we are not called to ignorance or silliness. Rather, we are called to trust the way a child trusts: with complete confidence in the Father. We show that confidence in our lives when we follow His directives for our life: Father knows best, so we’ll take His advice!

In Our Prayers . . . Anniversary… Myron & Lois Theesfeld, Daniel & Renee Harley, Virgil & Janet Meier. Health… Bob Witt, Stanley Gleason(Jim Vellema’s brother), Al Reitmeier(Diane Vellema’s brother), Alex Schmiesing, (Corey Hillesheim nephew),Dan Raverty, Pat Miller, Janice Pomerenke, John Martinsen, Albert Oeltjenbruns, Gary Soleta, Char Kruse, Leroy Garms, Diane Handy, Stan Sacks, Glen Borchardt, Michelle Griffith (Delores Schroeder’s daughter), Arlene Anderson, Todd Horkey,   Carl Nehlsen, Pastor Ernie Swenson, Daniel Schroeder, Peggy Erickson,  Tshihala, Bill Hanson,  All the Shut-Ins, our Soldiers & their Families.

Prayer Before Service . . . O generous Lord, You offer Your grace in simple packages: through Your Holy Word, through simple water empowered by Your Word of life and promise, through common bread and wine that brings Jesus into us and us into Jesus. Guide us into these gifts with a zeal of faith that we may ever grow in our lives as Christians worshiping and glorifying You; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
